Thomas J. Conway, Esq., MBT, CPA(retired)
Chief Financial Officer
Although I didn’t realize it at the time, my journey to become a Financial Advisor began at a young age. I was blessed to grow up in a large family with loving parents rooted in Midwest values. Growing up, I watched my father build a business as a Financial Advisor and saw his dedication in providing the best service to his clients and friends. I knew he enjoyed helping people and so do I.
After graduating in 1984 from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in accounting, I worked for Arthur Andersen and obtained my CPA license. Simultaneously, I received my dual Law Degree and Masters in Taxation from the University of Southern California and began my career as a tax and estate planning attorney. Working as an estate attorney was rewarding, but I knew there was something more when my father-in-law died 1992. This was when I found my passion for financial planning. I enjoyed helping my mother-in-law work through a myriad of issues and plan her financial future. That experience inspired me to help other women in similar situations. I also enjoy helping individuals in or near retirement who are looking for financial peace of mind as they transition to retirement.
When I am not working, my favorite time is spent with my wife, who was my 7th grade sweetheart, and our four sons. We enjoy hiking, traveling, snowboarding, golf and other outdoor activities. I also enjoy serving on the board of “Mercy House,” a local charitable organization dedicated to helping the homeless find their way back home... It is a constant reminder that we all need help during various stages in our lives.
I invite you to share your story with me and look forward to helping you.
